If you have a confirmed reservation, you can reach out to vagamon@zostel.com to get you booking amended. Make sure to clearly mention your reservation number and the dates for amendment.

The concept of backpackers' hostel is very popular outside India, and it is rapidly gaining traction in our country. Backpackers' hostels provide affordable, secure and hygienic accommodations to travelers. Usually, a backpacker's hostel consists of dorms for sleeping, secure lockers for storing luggage, clean bathrooms and a community kitchen facility. Rooms can be mixed or single-sex, although private rooms may also be available.
Absolutely! Soles on Wheels has served several solo female travellers till date and hasn't had any untoward incident in our 3+ years of operations. We have taken all safety precautions to ensure that you have a safe, fun-filled stay with like minded people. If you still aren't convinced, you can book a private room or a female-only dorm!

Keeping in mind the comfort and convenience of other solo travellers staying in the hostel, in Soles on Wheelswe do not permit group stays of more than 8 adults. We do follow a strict policy about it, which we're sure you can appreciate. (In addition to this, the Property Manager has the right to deny any group bookings made in multiple instalments from the website/any other platform.)
To avoid any scope of miscommunication, we do not provide a facility of pre-booking bus/train/flight/cab on your behalf. You can contact the hostel in order to get guidance on the same. However, once you're at the property our Property Manager would love to assist you in booking your journey going forward.

Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per property’s discretion and local laws. Please reach out the property prior to your arrival to confirm the same.
Yes, almost all the Soles on Wheels hostels have an in-house cafe/restaurant where you can order lip-smacking food at a reasonable cost. Also, we can always help you order food from outside as well. (Please note: we do not sell food inclusive packages online; the same is to be ordered upon your arrival only)
Yes, only if you have a booking with us. We will keep your luggage in our cloak room till you come back to pick it up. If you plan to keep the luggage for a long duration or before/after your stay, extra charges might be applicable. While staying with us in a dorm, lockers for your valuables are available in each dorm room, however the hostel will not be held responsible for any lost/stolen/damaged luggage.
Some of our hostels are pet-friendly, only in case some formal requirements are fulfilled. To know, you may contact the respective on-ground team over a phone call

Take an auto from the airport to Mattoor Junction. Direct bus is available regularly from Mattoor Junction to Pala.
Direct buses are available from Pala intermittently.
In case you do not get a direct bus to Vagamon from Pala, take a bus to Erattupetta. Regular buses available to Vagamon from Erattupetta. (First bus at 5:15AM. Last bus at 6:30 PM). Get down at Vazhikadavu Bus Stop in Kurishumala Junction from where our property is at walkable distance (700 meters). Auto charge will be Rs 50/-
2. Taxi
4-seater taxis are available from the airport for Rs 2600-2800.
One taxi can seat upto 4 people, so if you are travelling in a group, and if you are arriving late at night, we recommend taking a taxi.
